Associates Welcome Letter

Dear Colleague,

We are writing to ask if you wish to be an Associate of the new Rutgers Institute on Anti-Corruption Studies (RIACS) at the School of Public Affairs and Administration, Rutgers University at Newark.

We are hoping to build a multi-disciplinary and multi-national network that will focus on research, education, and course development.

The network of Associates will be a gathering of scholars and practitioners working in the field of corruption studies, and in particular on combating corruption. The main purpose is to develop a critical mass of people working in this area who can exchange ideas and come together as opportunities arise to work collaboratively on projects and provide educational opportunities.

Our new website http://riacs.newark.rutgers.edu provides various resources for educators, practitioners, and citizens. We are continuously revising and adding substance to our new site, and we hope your participation will strengthen it.

Associates will have a central forum on our website upon which to post their material. It may be of assistance to others in this field. If you have any resources that you would like to place on our website, we would be most happy to consider them. We have a review process before posting materials.

Associates do not receive any remuneration for their participation. The rewards are not financial, but rather the opportunity to share knowledge, develop knowledge collaboratively and contribute best ideas and practices.

We hope that you will join us in this new venture. If you would like further information please contact RIACS Director Dr. Yahong Zhang at yahongzh@rutgers.edu

Sincerely,
